JTR Kids Classes

JTR Jujutsu International’s Summer Day Camp offers children ages 6–12 a structured, active, and enriching summer experience. Each week blends traditional martial arts training, games, creative activities, swimming, field trips, and leadership development in a safe, values-based environment.

Campers build confidence, discipline, focus, teamwork, and resilience while staying physically active and engaged.

Camp Sessions (4 Weeks Available)

  • Session 1: June 22–26, 2026
  • Session 2: June 29–July 3, 2026
  • Session 3: August 3–7, 2026
  • Session 4: August 10–14, 2026

Daily Schedule

8:00 – 9:00 AM Early Drop-Off – Quiet activities, drawing, reading, supervised free play
9:00 – 9:30 AM Arrival Circle & Prep – Check-in, daily theme, mobility warm-up, safety reminders
9:30 – 10:30 AM 🥋 JTR Kids Jujutsu Class – Skills, coordination, awareness, character development
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM 🌱 Enrichment Block (rotating topics)

12:00 – 12:45 PM Lunch
12:45 – 1:00 PM 🧘 Quiet Reset – Reading, breathing, stretching, journaling
1:00 – 2:00 PM 🎯 Skill Games & Challenges – Obstacle courses, teamwork relays, agility, cooperative missions
2:00 – 2:15 PM Snack & Social Time
2:15 – 3:15 PM 💥 Theme-Based Activity Block

Camper Requirements

Clothing & Gear
  • Jujutsu gi and athletic clothing

  • Sneakers required daily

  • No shoes during martial arts class

  • Refillable water bottle (refill stations available)

  • All personal items must be labeled

Food
  • Packed lunch and snacks required

  • No food that requires heating or refrigeration

  • Please notify staff of any food allergies

Swim / Field Trip Days
  • Backpack

  • Swimsuit

  • Towel

  • Sunscreen

  • Change of clothes (optional)

Health & Medical
  • All health and emergency forms must be completed

  • Medication authorization is required, if applicable

  • Sick campers must remain home

Weather
  • Some activities will take place outdoors

  • Apply sunscreen before arrival

Daily Readiness
  • Campers must be able to participate safely in structured group activities

  • Electronics are discouraged and may be held at the front desk

  • JTR is not responsible for lost or misplaced items

Behavior Expectations
  • Follow staff instructions

  • Show respect to others

  • Participate safely at all times

Safety Measures

  • All activities supervised by trained instructors
  • Staff First & CPR trained
  • Structured supervision during swimming and field trips
